Is there anything creepier than a wind turbine?

They're enormous and quiet and so futuristic looking.
I don't know why, but they make me feel anxious and on edge.
We ran into literally thousands of them on our drive from Phoenix to Disneyland.

When I opened my window to take a picture while driving (the above pictures) our driving instructions whipped out the window. Oops.

While I was trying to explain my fear of these I said, "I bet if you looked on youtube you could find crazy videos of their blades flying off and killing everyone."
Aaaaand, voila.
(No one gets killed, but still pretty scary!)
